Description

The GAZ-24-24 Volga 1985 is Flysound's offering to the retro gods, comprising 135 sound files of pure nostalgic brilliance, recorded here in present day audio heaven. We took our superannuated Soviet monster out of retirement, fuelling her up and revving her for one more day of glory on the track. Our beloved GAZ-24 is recorded on Neumann U 87 studio mics positioned above the engine, and the interior is captured in quadraphonic surround sound. File size total is 7 GB. The library comprises 283 minutes of absolutely clean recording.

The library covers the gamut of everything this car is designed to do; starting, taking off, braking, stopping, cruising, turning and manoeuvres, at different speeds and from different microphone positions. The files include new and improved metadata, and this library is suitable for projects of any complexity.

A lite and mixed version of this suite is also available, comprising 18 authentic stereo files for simpler tasks which would have a preference for a package of ready made stock sounds of GAZ-24-24 Volga
