The Siemens Desiro is a high-speed train that is an engineering marvel and a staple of modern high-grade national and transcontinental rail transport. Sennheiser Ambeo microphones were used throughout.

Recordings were made inside carriages, inside a compartment, down gangways, across the ever-dramatic space connecting railcar vestibules, and also less glorified but vital locations, e.g., the loo. All relevant background sounds are there, including door movements, passenger chatter, objects in motion, and the sounds of the restaurant car.
