The Audi A6 is a sound library filled with powerful and emotive sounds that can captivate you from the first notes. In it we collected aggressive engine starts, the low rumbling exhaust sounds, driving at a variety of speeds, engine idling, and sharp braking with skids and whooshes. Every sound is a harmony of adrenaline and speed, character and power. This is the definitive sound library for the much-loved German modern classic that is the Audi A6. In order to achieve this, we rigged two Neumann U 87 microphones to the engine, and one Neumann KM 184 mic to the exhaust. We set up a Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar and a Sennheiser SPM 8000 mic to capture the interior, and for the exterior we again deployed two Neumann U 87 mics and a Sennheiser MKH 416 mic. In the spirit of the excellence of German engineering, we were as comprehensive and meticulous as possible, and the results are there in the files.
